- 10+ years of experience as an Education executive
- Proven experience in utilizing the “tools” of government — policy development, the legislative and regulatory process, appropriations, lobbying, public affairs and relationship building — to address complex business issues.
- Strong relationships within HHS industry groups/associations
- Experience in leading multiple, complex projects and programs
- Educational Institution, Agency, Business and / or Sales leadership experience
- Ability to bridge the gap between Business and Educators
- Very strong written and oral communicator
- Mentoring/professional development experience
