- A Bachelors degree minimum, with 3-5 years of work experience, ideally in a consulting or government relations firm
- Knowledge of public policy
- Strong presentation, communication, and meeting facilitation skills
- Excellent organizational, project management and networking skills
- Experience managing and communicating with state and local lobbyists
- Building successful relationships with a large network of consultants and ensure ongoing satisfaction
- Contract negotiation skills
- Ability to successfully identify, develop and initiate relationships with new consultants in different states, municipalities and practice areas
- Ability to connect clients with appropriate consultant in states and municipalities specific to ongoing projects
- Experience sourcing consultants into to service teams and business development teams as needed
